Purple Toad Wine Slushy Recipes

Make Purple Toad wine slushies at home with these four flavor recipes from our printed recipe cards. Each recipe uses one bottle of Purple Toad wine. Choose your flavor below, then follow the mixing and freezing directions.

Cotton Candy Slushy

• 1 bottle Purple Toad Cotton Candy wine
• 1 cup sugar
• 1½ cups Sprite

Black Currant Slushy

• 1 bottle Purple Toad Black Currant wine
• 1½ cups Sprite
• 1½ cups lemonade
• 1½ cups berry or fruit punch drink
• ½ cup sugar

Strawberry Lemonade Slushy

• 1 bottle Purple Toad Strawberry Lemonade wine
• 1½ cups Sprite
• ¼ cup lemonade
• ¼ cup orange juice
• ½ cup pineapple juice
• ¼ cup lime juice
• ½ cup sugar
• ¼ cup grenadine or fruit syrup

Apple Sangria Slushy

• 1 bottle Purple Toad June’s Red Apple wine
• 1½ cups Sprite
• ¼ cup lemonade
• ¼ cup orange juice
• ½ cup pineapple juice
• ¼ cup lime juice
• ½ cup sugar
• ¼ cup grenadine or fruit syrup

How to Make Your Wine Slushies

1. Mix: Combine all the ingredients for your chosen flavor in a large pitcher or bowl.
2. Stir: Stir well until the sugar has fully dissolved.
3. Freeze: Pour into a freezer-safe container and freeze for several hours or overnight, until slushy.
4. Serve: Scoop into glasses and enjoy.

Blender option: Freeze the mixture in ice cube trays, then blend the frozen cubes until smooth and slushy when you’re ready to serve.
