Yes. Both tasting rooms are open seven days a week throughout the year. We close on Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. Any additional weather or holiday closure will be announced on our social channels.

Every season has its own charm: spring flowers and mild picnic weather, a vibrant vineyard in summer, harvest atmosphere and comfortable weather in fall, and a cozy decorated tasting room in winter.

Absolutely. Purple Toad is family-friendly, with non-alcoholic fruit-punch slushies, soft drinks, water, snacks, and candy available.

Leashed pets are welcome outdoors. Indoors, only service animals as defined by the ADA are permitted; emotional-support animals are not allowed inside.

Yes, you may bring food. Kentucky law does not allow guests to bring outside alcoholic beverages onto the property.

Yes. If you do not finish it, ask our team about properly resealing the bottle before you leave. Open containers cannot leave the property.

Yes. We offer non-alcoholic drinks and snacks, plus a selection of beer for guests who prefer something other than wine.

Smoking is permitted outdoors only. Please avoid smoking in crowded guest areas.

No. Tastings are first-come, first-served at both locations. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are typically busiest, so a short wait is possible.

Groups of up to five can usually taste together. Please call ahead for five or more guests; larger parties may need to divide into smaller tasting groups so everyone receives attentive service.

Most tastings take approximately 20–25 minutes, although you are welcome to browse and enjoy the tasting room at your own pace.

Anyone sampling alcohol must be at least 21 years old and should bring a valid government-issued photo ID.

Yes. Purple Toad offers free wine and spirits tastings, including rotating selections of bourbon, fruit whiskey, vodka, and other spirits.

Tours are offered at the Paducah winery only. They are $10 per person, require advance registration, and include a souvenir Purple Toad glass for paid guests age 21 and older. See current times on the Tours page.

We cannot guarantee that any wine is free from a specific grape or fruit allergen because cross-contact can occur during production. Anyone with a grape or fruit allergy should exercise caution and consult a medical professional when appropriate.

Yes. Sulfites help preserve the wine. Purple Toad uses the minimum effective amount, typically around 75 parts per million. Anyone sensitive to sulfites should use caution.
