Sweet red fruit of spring with hot and spicy jalapeño! Just like strawberry jalapeño jelly! Spicy aftertaste but not too hot.
Serving & food pairings
Sweetness: 5 on our 0–6 scale, where 0 is dry and 6 is sweetest.
Serve chilled. Suggested pairings: barbecue, spicy tacos, or cream cheese appetizers.
Spoiler alert - I am not a sweet wine fan. But this sweet, slightly spicy strawberry wine is delightful! The jalapeños do a swell job of cutting what could be a syrupy mouthful. Drink this wine cold, on a balmy late afternoon patio hiatus. Or as a night cap when you’re craving something sweet (but not too sweet). Delicious!
This wine has a beautiful sweetness to it and at the finish you get a hint of the jalapeno and hottness. One of my favorite Purple Toad Wines.
Very tasty and interesting
Great wine!
This is definitely one of my favorites! Great flavor with a little heat. I've started sharing it with family and friends and they all agree.
Sweet with a follow up zing
Love it
My favorite
Had this before and it was wonderful this time
Excellent
This one is my favorite. I love the heat I get from it.
My husband loves it. My favorite was blackberry-lemon which i wish you would bring back! So now I have to settle for Black & Bruised which is also fabulous.
Excellent let alone this came quickly, it is unique and one our favorites.
Great
This is my favorite! Perfect.
