Sweet red fruit of spring with hot and spicy jalapeño! Just like strawberry jalapeño jelly! Spicy aftertaste but not too hot.
Spoiler alert - I am not a sweet wine fan. But this sweet, slightly spicy strawberry wine is delightful! The jalapeños do a swell job of cutting what could be a syrupy mouthful. Drink this wine cold, on a balmy late afternoon patio hiatus. Or as a night cap when you’re craving something sweet (but not too sweet). Delicious!
This wine has a beautiful sweetness to it and at the finish you get a hint of the jalapeno and hottness. One of my favorite Purple Toad Wines.
