Aged a total of 12 years, this Double Oaked Kentucky Straight Whiskey offers a smooth, rounded expression at 94 proof. Aging in a used barrel followed by a new charred oak barrel adds depth and character without overwhelming the palate.
Bottled at 94 proof and non-chill filtered, it reveals rich layers of caramel, toasted vanilla, and honeyed oak, with subtle hints of cinnamon, dried fruit, and soft spice on the finish.
Made from a mash bill of 70% corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley, the whiskey carries a touch of rye spice that balances its natural sweetness. While we didn’t distill it ourselves, each barrel was hand-selected, proofed, and bottled on-site at Purple Toad in Paducah, Kentucky, under our DSP.
This lower proof highlights the barrel’s natural sweetness and showcases the complexity earned through more than a decade of aging in Kentucky’s shifting seasons.
