Tasting Notes

Suave, intenso y lleno de sabor.

Black & Bruised es una mezcla de vinos de mora y Concord, dos de nuestros sabores más queridos, unidos en perfecta armonía. Es jugoso, afrutado y dulce de principio a fin, con un color púrpura oscuro y una textura suave y aterciopelada que lo hace difícil de dejar.

Pairing Suggestions

- Carne asada, ahumados o hamburguesas: lo dulce equilibra lo ahumado.
- Postres de chocolate: desde brownies hasta trufas.
- Quesos suaves o tarta de queso: lo rico y cremoso se une a lo afrutado y atrevido.
- O, simplemente disfrútalo frío: no necesita maridaje.

Story Behind the Wine

Nuestro vino número 1 solía ser Concord, y el número 2 era Lauren's Blackberry. Un día, nuestro dueño se sentó y dijo: "¿Qué pasaría si mezcláramos los dos?".

Después de varias pruebas, el resultado fue exactamente lo que esperábamos: lo mejor de ambos vinos en una sola botella.

Originalmente se llamó Black & Blue, pero tuvimos que cambiar el nombre hace varios años debido a problemas de marca registrada con otra bodega. Como siempre habíamos llamado a Concord "azul" por su color y nuestra mascota Toad ya tenía un ojo morado y vendajes, lo renombramos Black & Bruised, y lo registramos.

Hoy, Black & Bruised representa casi el 30% de nuestras ventas totales, y sigue siendo el vino del que la mayoría de la gente se enamora primero.
