6-Year Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Our 6-year small batch bourbon is bottled at 92 proof from hand-selected barrels sourced from Kentucky distilleries and bottled by Purple Toad in Paducah, Kentucky. Using the same mash bill as our 7-year (70% corn, 21% rye, 9% malted barley), this release showcases a bolder, more assertive profile shaped by its slightly younger age.

Compared to the rounder, sweeter character of our 7-year, the 6-year offers more pronounced rye spice, firm oak tannins, and a drier finish—ideal for drinkers who prefer structure over sweetness. Notes of cinnamon, charred oak, and toasted grain lead, balanced by a touch of caramel and stone fruit underneath.

Each barrel is dumped on-site, proofed down with local water, and bottled by hand—without chill filtration—to preserve its full body and layered complexity.

Though the barrels are sourced, all production and bottling is done in-house. Purple Toad currently distills brandy under our DSP license and is laying down bourbon for future fully in-house expressions. Western Kentucky’s temperature swings provide a dynamic aging environment, yielding bourbon with depth, edge, and character.
